The Diabetes New Zealand Research Foundation is Aotearoa’s largest non-government funder of diabetes research. We fund world-class New Zealand research, by New Zealand researchers, to improve outcomes for New Zealanders living with diabetes.
We are investing in world-class research today, to benefit New Zealand tomorrow.
The Diabetes New Zealand Research Foundation was established in 2022, with a clear mission to significantly reduce the harm caused by diabetes in New Zealand.
Our Board is comprised of industry-leading experts and professionals, who are committed to identifying and supporting impactful research that reduces the morbidity, mortality and cost associated with diabetes.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we are reliant on the support of generous individuals, trusts and companies, to provide funding for vital diabetes research.
We believe in the power of collaboration and work closely with Diabetes New Zealand and NZSSD (New Zealand Society for the Study of Diabetes).
