Why diabetes research matters

Diabetes is New Zealand’s largest and fastest growing health condition.

There are 300,000 people living with diabetes in Aotearoa, a number which is rapidly rising. Our research aims to find impactful ways to prevent, as well as manage and treat this chronic disease, so we can improve the lives of people living with diabetes.
