We have funding opportunities available from time to time for New Zealand researchers. We invite enquiries at any time via the contact form below.
Our funding covers three broad categories within the field of diabetes research: Basic Research, Clinical Research and Translational Research.
Diabetes New Zealand Research Foundation support is for researchers across science, medical and allied health professionals, at different stages of their career. This includes clinicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, basic scientists, students and more.
The Foundation will support research which is conducted in New Zealand and will benefit those with or at risk of diabetes.
Criteria for assessing applications includes feasibility, significance and research objectives. All applications will be subject to the total funding pool available per annum.
The Foundation will consider undertaking partnership research with other interested organisations and parties and welcomes enquires from those interest in potential partnership research collaborations. Also, from time to time the Foundation may seek expressions of interest from a range of researchers and research organisations for targeted or commissioned research, on topics selected by the Foundation.
